Summary: | Most real-world problems involve a concurrent optimization of conflicting objectives. Systems for use in miscellaneous applications have been developed using computers. These systems become more human oriented as technology progresses. One reason is that humans are not exact and precise entities because of this, systems mist incorporate uncertainty management.
One field of example is in computer diagnostics. Given certain symptoms it is an advantage to be able to know the problem immediately. This paper will formulate a rough set based decision model on computer diagnostics. By using rough set theory, we will be able to pinpoint certain cause to common computer problems. This can minimize the delay in diagnostics by reducing trial and error. |
