Vision system for object-recognition using two cameras
This paper reports about the development and implementation of a color based object recognition system using two cameras. Specifically, two Logitech web cameras were used to capture frames of two different parts of one environment. Each camera was suspended over each half of the field and the images...

Dadios, Elmer P. This paper reports about the development and implementation of a color based object recognition system using two cameras. Specifically, two Logitech web cameras were used to capture frames of two different parts of one environment. Each camera was suspended over each half of the field and the images from each camera were combined to form one whole image of the field. This paper also describes the algorithm used to recognize an object from a combined image. The objects used in this study were colored patches of paper with dual color combinations of: yellow-green, red-orange, yellow-blue, and green-red. The vision system was able to recognize objects based on their colors and compute for their position and orientation. 2022-05-25T09:29:38Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/faculty_research/5827 Faculty Research Work Animo Repository Image processing—Digital techniques Color vision Webcams Computer Engineering |
