Summary:This research focuses on how to approach corruption studies in terms of various methodologies. In this paper, the author suggests and emphasizes the importance of qualitative methodology in the process of corruption studies. Tb.is method, however, is not frequently used for corruption studies. In particular, the author collects data, which has been contributed to the Korean Corruption Studies Review since 1995 and analyzes it through the frequencies of quantitative or qualitative methodologies. Finally, the author concludes and suggests that the qualitative methodologies for corruption studies is desirable because of its beneficial contribution to the understanding human beings' corruption behaviors.
