Andrew Gonzalez College of Education (BAG CED), Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR COB), School of Economics (SOE), and College of Science (COS) on the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) Formation Phase. Also, the research studied the perceptions on community engagement by students from the Br. Andrew Gonzalez College of Education (BAG CED), Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business (RVR COB), School of Economics (SOE), College of Computer Studies (CCS), College of Liberal Arts (CLA), and the Gokongwei College of Engineering (GCOE). The results of the study showed that (a) the students gave high ratings in the over-all evaluation of the CWTS Formation Phase; (b) the theme "compassion to others" emerged as the most significant learning of the students; (c) "program organization" was identified as the area which needs the most improvement; (d) students had negative perceptions before the community engagement but they developed positive perceptions during the actual project implementation; and (e) the development of civic responsibility is the most perceived benefit of community engagement by the students. 2014-06-23T07:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/faculty_research/7370 Faculty Research Work Animo Repository Service learning Other Education
