The software is intended for engineers and manufacturers in the Philippines that require a simple axial flow turbine design that can be produced in the least amount of time and manufactured locally in the country. The axial flow turbine design of AFDS is intended for low head application. Therefore, the maximum head applicable for the axial flow turbines of AFDS is 10m. Tje software is designed for the user to input the net head and flow; and the software will automatically adjust the drawings to suite the given data. All drawings in this software are printer friendly and will print to a legal or long sized bond paper in lanscape orientation.
