الملخص: | Several computer network shared media access control methods have been developed. These methods are generally grouped into two categories: non-deterministic and deterministic. Deterministic methods allow advices to content for medium use; while non-deterministic methods follow a predictable medium allocation scheme for each device. Both methods have proven inefficiencies in terms of medium usage. In addition, common standard techniques for media access control do not have any provisions for data prioritization. Due to these, several hybrid media access control methods have been proposed to address the shortcomings of common methods. This paper proposes a MAC method that provides prioritization modeled through times automata, abstract machines that have been shown to be useful in modeling real-time systems. |
