This paper is a summary of common misconceptions of students about motion ad forces. This is part of a lecture delivered to faculty members of the University of Perpetual Help System teaching undergraduate introductory physics courses. Data is obtained from a validated test instrument to check the understanding of students in fundamental physics in mechanics. In the several years of teaching of the authors in the subject it is noted that these problematic concepts crop up not only on university students but also on high school teachers clearly reveals a lack of understanding of our junior Physics Educators in key concepts in physics. Discussed in this paper are key concepts which have consistently scored the lowest in the test instrument. 2007-03-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/faculty_research/8492 Faculty Research Work Animo Repository Kinematics Force and energy Physics—Study and teaching Physics
