Optimum thickness of rearing media was 1.5 inches.The problems encountered in the mass rearing of Corcyra were a hymenopterous parasite, bacterial and fungal diseases, Tribolium competition, and mites.Three Trichogramma species were successfully mass reared: T. australicum, T. chilotrea, and T. sp. The first two produced 1:1 ratio of egg and parasites while the third produced 1:15 ratio.
