These theoretical reconsiderations inform the five propositions that are offered as an alternative to five erroneous historical assertions about Negros then extant in the literature. These theoretical reconsiderations also explain why and how the author's work on Negros is both history and sociology. 2013-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://archium.ateneo.edu/history-faculty-pubs/15 https://www.jstor.org/stable/43486357?seq=1#metadata_info_tab_contents History Department Faculty Publications Archīum Ateneo Haciendas Colonialism Sugar industry Sugars Capitalism Sugar crops Marxism Social structures Textile industry Asian History History Sociology
