It presents the modern Filipino Alphabet of twenty-eight letters (twenty from the Tagalog alphabet and eight from Spanish) as mandated by the Philippine government in 1987. One might say that it is a typical alphabet book, but because the book also provides informative and easy-to-read descriptions, in both English and Filipino, of the objects used to represent the letters, it is instructive not only to young learners but to older learners as well. |
