Description
Summary:Excerpt: Alpabetong Filipino, the newest alphabet book published in the Philippines, could very well be listed as one of the top early learning materials that Filipino school and home libraries should have. It presents the modern Filipino Alphabet of twenty-eight letters (twenty from the Tagalog alphabet and eight from Spanish) as mandated by the Philippine government in 1987. One might say that it is a typical alphabet book, but because the book also provides informative and easy-to-read descriptions, in both English and Filipino, of the objects used to represent the letters, it is instructive not only to young learners but to older learners as well.
