On this latter subject, Father Adolfo Dacanáy, SJ, speaks with such authority that I have become accustomed to seeing citations to his book Canon Law on Marriage: Introductory Notes and Comments where I expected to find references to the actual 1983 Code of Canon Law. While this oversight on the part of my students causes me some consternation, I am relieved that they at least recognize a good source when they see it. This is no mere flattery.
