Description
Summary:Excerpt: In the explosion of local theater in the last several years, and this past one in particular, the natural centers of attention have been the big productions and/or the popular or critical hits. But smaller productions are also part of the tapestry of this theater renaissance—some of them perhaps not even plays in the traditional sense but, still, they fed, and even increased, the appetite for the performing arts, if in more defined niches. They also drew on largely the same pool of theatrical talent as their more publicized brethren, and their multiplicity has created such a demand that, as one talent told me, her fellow practitioners have found it difficult to find time to watch each other’s shows.
