Summary:Current issues around the world reflect a society where materialism and secularism are slowly taking precedence. Communities seem to live in mutual fear, rather than mutual trust, where the threat of devastating war or conflict is imminent. For example, North Korea has made headlines with its recent missile launches. Territorial disputes between China and Taiwan, Malaysia and the Philippines, and China, Taiwan and the Philippines to name a few, continue over certain areas, with countries intimidating each other through the show of military force and prowess.
