Effects of hydroxyapatite scaffold on the osteodifferentiation of subcultured human mesenchymal stem cells
To increase the number of mesenchymal stem cells obtained from human bone marrow for potential therapy, subculturing or passaging is conducted in vitro. However, this usually lowers the potential of the cells to proliferate and to differentiate into bone.
