Summary:ABSTRACT The study determined the career profile and the Job satisfaction of the De La Salle University graduates in Metro Manila and a few in the provinces, in relation to certain variables such as years of work experience, income, current position, place of work, age, educational advancement and civil status. The population consisted of 175 respondents, 35 of which responded to the mailed questionnaire. The exploratory and correlational study was conducted through the foreign Minnesota Career Questionnaire. This also measured job satisfaction. The job satisfaction levels were measured through a four-point Likert scale and the frequency distribution showed that De La Salle University psychology graduates have generally satisfied levels of job satisfaction. The career profile revealed that majority of the respondents are in the second level of Job position, that majority are in the office environment in terms of the place of work, that majority are in the senior age bracket, that majority belong to the lower income bracket, that majority are in the low group in terms of the years of work experience, that majority have only acquired A.B. Psychology Degree in terms of the Educational advancement and mostly all are single in terms of the Civil status. For the relationship of the different variables to Job satisfaction, the statistical treatment produced a negative relationship to all the variables. The values are tabulated and the chi-square with the Yate's correction for continuity wasd applied as statistical treatment. All computed values were compared at a .05 significance level and the Degree of freedom was 1.
