| Summary: | This practicum study aims to develop the existing layout specifically in the
production of EU Cover ESCN automotive parts of Philippine Mansho
Incorporation – Brgy. Langkaan Dasmariñas. The whole manufacturing process
has been observed from preparation of raw materials to packaging. Various
methodologies have been conducted in order to gather data about every aspect
in the production. After analyzing the historical data, the researcher was able to
determine the root causes of the production loss. This study should be able to
eliminate the lack of material handling equipment that causes backtracking and
long distance travel from Line Inspection to Light Mode which are the layout
related problems that contributes to the production loss in the manufacturing of
EU Cover ESCN automotive part in order to have a smooth flow of operations. |
