The participating children in the study included twenty years old. they attended morning sessions in the Salome L. Tan Pre-School in Singalong, Manila. Play behavior was observed during the recess break from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Each child was observed for 90 seconds pro twenty consecutive school days. It was discovered that the play patterns of the children were different in terms of types of play engaged in.
