Summary: | The purpose of this study was to tests the reliability and usefulness of the Radio Frequency Identification Technology as an indicating tool to detect the presence of people through a prototype. The testing was performed by operating the prototype for sixteen hours each day for sixty days. The results of testing of the prototype showed inconsistency in reliability and precision in part of the Radio Frequency reader and the Relay driver. Although there was reliability and precision problems regarding the prototype, the Radio Frequency Technology can be used as an indicating tool to detect the presence of people and through this technology, time , energy, and resources can be conserved. |
