In 2008, La Traviesa Hotel Resort and Spa located at Brgy. Buenavista General Trias Cavite was opened to the public. Since then, this resort has been an avenue of fun and relaxation. It is easy to locate because it is just about only 2 and a half hours away from Manila. It is owned by a Filipino business woman named Miss Lumen Lebria and is being managed by Miss Anne Dayrit. La Traviesa Hotel Resort and Spa has an Infinity pool with a capacity of 80 persons, 1 kiddie pool with a capacity of 60 persons; 1 Cabana room and 4 Villa rooms intended for 2 persons each. It also has an attic room intended for a maximum of 16 persons. These facilities are being offered for customers or guests who want to stay for limited days depending on the given packages. In addition, it has 5 cottages where they could stay for a limited specific time. They are as follows: Jardin de Colores Vivos, a perfect place for recreational and social gatherings, has a capacity of 100 persons; Octagon Gazebo, designed for conferences, meetings and other corporate events, has a capacity of 50 persons, and Kamagong function room with maximum of 450 persons which could be used for weddings, baptismal, birthdays and other social events. There are also some camping tents that could provide customers De La Salle University – Dasmariñas a camping experience, and a garden area that serves outside amenities. It also offers recreational facilities such as swimming pools with separate payment lessons (Managed by Bert Lozada School), 2 KTV rooms and a place for yoga exercise, 1 Restaurant, a Spa, a Bar, and other occasional facilities and accommodation packages. The Spa offers a lot of refreshments. Spa facilities include the use of sauna and steam. The company’s services are performed by a therapist who has been trained by licensed instructors. Further, La Traviesa Hotel Resort and Spa caters to baptismal celebration, weddings, debuts, birthdays, team buildings and simple hangout for youth. The resort has an existing email address [e-mail] in which customers can transact business with the receptionist. They could also go directly to the resort and register, the company also has an inactive website. As the years pass by, the business has earned some reputation for competency and trustworthiness. However, the company is still looking forward for more improvements in order to become competitive in today’s global market.
