| Summary: | The existing system of TCA (The Computer Authority) is a manual system that requires a significant amount of manpower in conducting various tasks such as sales computations and sales transactions. Reports such as sales reports and inventory reports are done manually by the employees before encoding it on a computer. Furthermore, reports are filed on folders for storage.
The proponents have identified the problem of the company and provided them solution through the introduction of an automated sales and inventory system. This proposed system will make the transaction processing and generation of reports easier through automated report generation and sales computations. The clients will have more flexibility since online shopping will be available. TCA will be able to determine products on critical level easier to prevent out stocking of products. The proposed system will have a user-friendly environment both for TCA and its clients. It will also provide a safe and secure database for all the records of TCA. The proponents used tools and theories such as Data Flow Diagram to study the flow of the system and provide solutions to the existing problems encountered by TCA. The proponents also studied previous and related studies in order to further increase the proponents knowledge about the system to provide proper solutions to the problems encountered. The proposed system will help TCA to provide better services for its clients. |
