Summary:This paper attempts to examine the situation of investment in human capital and to provide suggestions on resources directed in this aspect. A compilation of educational statistics for the past decades is collected. An evaluation of the training and retraining programmes conducted by the government and labour union is performed. Companies are surveyed to learn about their attitudes of companies towards training and the amount of training undertaken.
