Description
Summary:This research investigates if the Phillips curve phenomenon is 'alive' in our selected Asian countries. Using the works of Niskanen and Reichel as a basis for our study, we extend empirical tests for the existence of the Phillips curve in the selected Asian Countries. We aim to overcome the non-clarity and ambiguity of both Niskanen and Reichel's study of the Phillips curve phenomenon in the United States and Europe region. At the same time, we set out to provide a comprehensive study on the Asian countries with methods and steps clearly defined.
