Summary:While there was a plethora of literature on clusters and knowledge flows within clusters, so far not much research was done to study the relationship between business confidence levels of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the levels of knowledge flows. Hence, our study was designed to fill this void. By focusing our research on SMEs in the local semiconductor and automotive industries, this study explored the relationship between the usefulness of various knowledge flows from both local and foreign sources and the levels of business confidence.
