文圖學視角下的賴馬繪本研究 = A study of Laima’s picture books through the perspective of text and image studies

故此,本研究擬從文圖學的視角出發,以文字與圖像於繪本中的表現特質作為討論基礎,進一步探討兩者經由各自組合關係所產生的文本,如何與圖像進行結合以完成繪本的深層敘事。本文將賴馬繪本中的聽覺性、文學性與圖像性的文本表現特質並置於同一框架進行討論,並且提出文本與圖像於繪本中的三種互動模式為「文以釋圖」、「圖以釋文」及「文圖交叉」,以期瞭解繪本如何帶給讀者感官上的刺激與享受。
With the invention and pervasive use of smart phones, human civilization
in the 21st century has entered into a new era where visuality has been placed
with greater emphasis. Therefore, Professor I Lo-fen put forward the idea of
“text and image turn” in considering the impact of emerging technologies on
human. As a visual culture consumer product combining the representation of
“text” and “image”, Picture Books in the 21st Century has evolved to an artwork
comprising of many artistic elements.
This research seeks to explore the innovation and artistic creation of
Laima’s work in the new era, using the theories of the “text and image studies”.
We would first investigate the artistic traits of literary and visual elements in his
picture books, and then discuss how “texts” created by literary and visual
elements make further interaction with “images” to create deeper meanings as
well as sensory stimulation to the reader. Notably, text and image studies has
provided a structure which allows meaningful and concurrent discussion of
auditory, literary and graphic textual traits in picture books. Through thorough
investigation of Laima’s works , this research invented three possible angles in
which the interactions between “text” and “image” could be discussed. They
are namely, “text as an basis for image literacy”, “image as a basis for text
literacy” and the cross interaction between “text and images” . |
