Our Applied Research Project looks at how ex-offenders reintegrate into society and discusses how various agencies help ex-offenders reintegrate into society. Through interviews with SCORE’s top management, a counselor, a pastor, two ex-offenders and two existing employers of ex-offenders, we obtain insights into the difficulties ex-offenders face when reintegrating into society. We also conduct a survey with the public to assess the level of acceptance it has for ex-offenders, which shows generally favorable perceptions towards ex-offenders.
