Particularly, the project is conducted based on the Android platform. Given the existing campus network and the established Hadoop servers, the major objective is to develop a mobile application to access the Hadoop File System (HDFS) implemented on the Hadoop servers from an Android device. The application is supposed to support basic functions of file management, including view, selection, upload, download, deletion of the files. The following tasks are achieved: the Google Android development tools are installed; the prototype of the user interface is designed and implemented; the file list from the cloud is shown with file information; single files could be deleted. This is the first attempt of accessing to the HDFS on mobile platform and a few limitations are discovered for further researches. 2015-06-23T08:29:04Z 2019-12-06T21:56:51Z 2015-06-23T08:29:04Z 2019-12-06T21:56:51Z 2014 2014 Student Research Paper Tao, Q.
