Countries included in the analyses are Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Laos. Findings point to similarities across countries in the region on some aspects of household such as household structure. However there are important differences in other aspects such as household headship. Overall, the findings show both the diversity and similarities in households in Southeast Asia. The findings are interpreted by situating them within the broader historical, cultural, social and demographic frameworks. 2015-03-09T02:24:00Z 2019-12-06T22:13:26Z 2015-03-09T02:24:00Z 2019-12-06T22:13:26Z 2014 2014 Journal Article Dommaraju, P., & Tan, J.
