Summary: | The purpose of this study is to replicate Behn et al. (1997), a US study, that looked at certain audit quality attributes to determine if they were also related to audit client satisfaction. We examined this issue in the Singapore context and also extended the original study by including additional attributes that may play a part in enhancing the satisfaction level. A total of 150 questionnaires were distributed to various companies in Singapore asking them to evaluate their current auditors based on 19 audit quality attributes. They were also asked to rate their overall satisfaction levels for their respective audit firm and audit team. |
