Summary:This study attempts to uncover the public’s attitude towards censorship of violence in movies. In particular, the study focused on the public’s attitudes towards violence in society, their attitudes toward violence in movies as well as their attitudes toward censorship of violence in movies and in children’s programs. In addition, this study also attempts to determine the significant demographic variables that influence the above mentioned attitudes.
