The analysis is developed through the study of the dynamics of 'macro-system' inherent in Northern Italy. The paper is linked to the linguistic study of the Toponymy (Toponomastics) of this area of the ancient Liguria and is aimed at pointing out the relationships between the population dynamics and the naming process of the places especially in the proto-historic ages.
