Description
Summary:Managerial ethics has always been a huge concern around the world but many have not investigated the possible factors behind one’s unethical intentions in Singapore’s context. In this paper, 4 main factors namely, Self-Interested behaviour; Unrealistic Goals; Boss’s Pressure and Unethical Working Environment, and 3 moderating factors, Gender differences; Grey area and Unethical Working Environment, are explored through the team’s research model. The findings were collated through results of an online survey filled out by various managers from various industries holding different position levels. Hereafter, various regression analyses were carried out to detect the extent of our framework’s validation through statistical significance. Finally, directions for future research and implications of the findings are suggested in this paper’s final section.
