Using various dialogic approaches, we sought to trace and represent, to particular organizations, the articulated memories of these individuals from the void deck. The elderly’ narrativization of their lives through their memories has filled the void deck as a lived space of experience, identities and emotions. This critical inquiry thus tracks the process and significance of negotiations with these agencies, based on the richly-textured histories of human relations and quotidian living we discovered.
