Description
Summary:This study aims to discover the determinants of disclosure by banks from various countries so as to ascertain whether bank disclosure varies systematically by country or if there are other variables that influence the level of disclosure. Capital risk was found to be a significant predictor of the level of banking disclosure. An additional test was conducted for the quality of disclosure. It is suggested that Singapore banks improve their disclosure level to cope with the fast-changing times.
