TSIS includes both NETSIM (Network Simulation of Arterial Roads) and FRESIM (Freeway Simulation). In this study, NETSIM (alternatively known as CORSIM) will only be used as the simulation is confined to an urban road network so that the effects of traffic control and Transportation Systems Management (TSM) strategies on the network performance can be evaluated. |
