Information Technology (IT) offers a very competitive edge to business. The use of Information Technology in any corporation requires basically network infrastructure and application systems. Since there are many technical options and products for implementing IT, it is very challenging for network designers and planners to plan and implement a cost-effective network with optimum performance. If the network is not planned and implemented considering both short term and long term objectives, it can lead to business chaos.
