Description
Summary:The gray-level corner can be denned as the point of planar curvature extremes in the line of the steepest gray-level slope of the image [1]. The robust and precise recognition of extreme intensity variation of the gray-level corner is important both for visual human perception [2] and for the automatic interpretation of image structure from motion [3] and stereo matching [4] by computers. The more robustly and precisely the corner structure is derived from the image, the more reliably can objects in the 3D-scene be described, recognized and reconstructed.
