Computational analysis of ballistic impact on composite structures
In reference [1], Vinson and Zukas developed methods by which to analyze the ballistic impact effects of blunt impactors into woven Kevlar and nylon targets. They then applied the methods to the experimental data of Maheux, the Mellon Institute, and Roylance, Wilde and Tocci.
