With the advancement in technology in today’s society, this has further led to the development of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). This paper will provide a comprehensive theoretical analysis of the importance and advancement of GNSS. The project conducted will present sufficient analysis and link between the given GNSS raw measurement and the Android implementation through the development of the GNSS Android application. Such application will capture raw GNSS measurements and log the GNSS data output to a file. GNSS receiver behaviour will then be analysed through detailed and interactive plots. The results presented in this paper have been used in the development of the Android application which can lead to breakthrough such as using the GNSS application in place of expensive GNSS tracker.
