Summary: | Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) are often described as instruments that give investors the benefits of diversification at a low cost. It is gaining a lot of attention from investors with all types of portfolios because it is a flexible tool and can fulfil various investment needs. While this may be attractive, it is important to know that ETFs, being investment products, are not free from risk elements. This project aims to analyse the ETFs traded on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) from 5 angles – performance, tracking accuracy, cost, liquidity and price fairness. It will also carry a primary research on novice investors in Singapore, in order to understand the investment behaviours and preferences of the target audience. |
