Summary: | Generally wireless charging technology has two different types, one is radioactive wireless charging another one is non-radioactive wireless charging. Under radioactive charging there are inductive wireless charging and resonance wireless charging.
The aim of this project was to explore and analyse inductive wireless charging and magnetic resonance charging and to understand and build a wireless charging device making use of the method mentioned above. In addition, to analyse what were the factors that would affect the wireless charging efficiency. Experiments and testing were done on the inductance, resistance, capacitance, maximum charging distance, wireless charging efficiency and coil alignment were examined and recorded. These data were generated and compared between the different types of transmitting coil and receiving. The experiments and data obtained from this project will help in the future development of the wireless charging applications. |
