自古以来，军人执政一向是非常有争议性的话题。当中的利与弊都备受瞩目，也成为了中国历史不可或缺的部分。在20世纪初，中华民国因北洋军阀的存在而让这段历史赋予了让众人感到好奇的年代。这个时期的历史事件都迷离扑朔，令人莫测。当中的政治斗争、权利抢夺，勾心斗角涵盖了这个时代的生活方式，也成为中国历史学者不可或缺的学习与参考。由此，「军阀」一词也逐渐巩固了贬义之意。本文将阐述军阀在中国历史，尤其是清末民初所扮演的重要角色。文章中也会探讨「军阀」一词在历史脉络中的变迁，以及对军政短暂执政的问题进行陈述，并研究其词语如何奠定了贬义的形象。The topic of military administration has always been a topic of controversy in the history of China, attracting constant debates about the pros and cons of a government under the military system. Notably, the Beiyang Army, formed in the late 19th century, led China to a series of confusing and unpredictable events, causing countless political struggles and disrupting the lives of people in the country. As a result, studies have consistently defined the term "warlord" as a meaning of derogation. This paper will narrate upon the important role played by warlords in Chinese history, specifically on the Beiyang Army in the early 20th century. The article also aims to explore on the evolution and consolidation of the term "warlord" in historical context, elaborating on the brief administration of a military government and how a derogatory image has been established on them permanently.
