At the same time, medical schools are having a difficult time procuring cadavers for the study of anatomy, due to their high prices, lack of supply and short lifespan. As such, this project attempts to create a VR application for the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) which will allow students to study the human anatomy through the use of high-quality 3D models. The objectives of this project are to create an application that is interactive and intuitive to use. Additionally, the application must provide a quiz functionality whereby students can attempt quizzes set by the professors for each model. Finally, the application must be scalable, allowing users with no experience in programming to add additional models and quizzes without needing to alter the source code. It is concluded that this is indeed possible to achieve and validates that VR performs reasonably well as a teaching aid. Possible future developments may include additional functionalities such as exploded view of the models and animated models.
