Summary: | Many social media platforms allow videos, text and pictures to be uploaded. These contents are viewed by internet users who leave comments and may lead to conversations. The aim of this project is to create a visual representation of these comments. In a previous project the Kandinsky art style had been implemented as a way to better visualise the hundreds if not thousands of comments. This google extension focuses on YouTube comments. It uses colourful circles and concentric circles, which was inspired by abstract arts called “Squares with Concentric circles” and “several circles” by Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky. Each circle represents a comment from internet uses.
The aim of this project is to better depict and segregate users’ comments in a meaningful way. Hence the first half of the project was dedicated to the research of emotions and how to better depict the data that was previously collected.
The second half of the project was used to implement a chosen emotions representation method. |
