Summary:The purpose of this Final Year Project is to deliver a fully functional food review platform, named Food Hunter, within Nanyang Technological University (NTU) to promote and showcase the food variety available within campus. The Food Hunter will gather valuable reviews to identify dining hotspots and allow users to search for food options within NTU. It also serves as a platform for users to feedback any information discrepancy to allow the most updated information to be shared. The system architecture adopted aims to facilitate maintainability and extensibility. The application is developed with great emphasis on flexibility and reusability. This development project is implemented with good development practices. This report entails the design and development process of the Food Hunter, analysis of existing food platforms, and recommendations for future work for the Food Hunter. A responsive web view User Application of the Food Hunter is developed using React and Django framework. A simple Admin Application is developed to facilitate the data collection process. The Food Hunter is deployed with real food data collected from canteens in NTU. User guides in the form of documents and video for User Application of Food Hunter have been produced.
