It is like the gameplay happens in the real life. The gameplay that he plays in the arcade would be similar to game like Temple Run, where there is a chase going on. At the beginning of the film, camera shot shows a video game addict, Damien, spends all his time at the arcade until late night, and leaves. He steps out of the building and comes to the bus top. When he is waiting for bus, he finds that there is a monster behind him. (That monster is the same monster of the video game that he played in the arcade) Damien runs while the monster is close behind. He runs into a tunnel and the end of the tunnel connects to a hellish place. He falls down and looks desperately because he has no place to escape. The monster is approaching more and more closer. When the monster is about to bite him, the camera shot changes from the tunnel to the arcade, he wakes up to find himself back in the Arcade, with the game over showing on the game machine. Also we can see singed marks on his shirt. This indicates the escape event is likely happened and it is not just a dream. This project is a live action film with CG visual effects.
