For detailed studies to be carried out to analyze animal’s behaviors, the wearable device should also contain the following features, Global Positioning System (GPS), real time image, date, time, temperature and humidity. However, the addition of these functions will increase the weight of the device which is not ideal. Furthermore, the battery life of the device will be compromise which means that user will have to recharge the device every few hours which is inefficient. Therefore, this paper aims to propose solution in reducing the size and weight of the animal trekking device and provide a substantial battery life to enhance the overall user experience.
