Description
Summary:Differential Phase Contrast (DPC) in a Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) is a technique that is widely used to visualise the electromagnetic field on the nanoscale level. In this project, we are interested to map the electric field in the perovskite solar cell using DPC technique. The analysis will mainly be performed in HyperSpy library, a multi-dimensional data analysis toolbox, in Python programming language. The experimental data consists of a 4-dimentional stacks of DPC images of a biased perovskite solar cell acquired in a TEM. Data denoising using PCA method were required to separate highly informational data from the noises present in the dataset to improve image quality of the diffraction pattern captured by using DPC method for better analysis. While it requires large computation power, we demonstrate that it is indeed possible to map out the electric field of perovskite solar cell dataset captured by DPC method realising its great potential for nano-electromagnetic field imaging.
