As the number of users increase, with the same amount of limited bandwidth allocated for wireless communication, it is necessary for changes to be made to make use of the resources available more effectively and efficiently. This brought about the massive MIMO system which relies on the MIMO technology to increase capacity. Antennas used in these wireless devices thus, must adapt to MIMO technology and at the same time, remain small and easy to mass produce in factories for wireless devices to be convenient to carry about and produce profits. Hence, this project would focus on the MIMO slot antenna for Wi-Fi application, which would use the MIMO technology while also using microstrip slot antenna to ensure that it is small and easy to mass produce in factories.
