This project aims to determine the technology that should be integrated into the curriculum, by looking at the relevancy of the technology to not only the concept, but also to the future working industry. This will provide a dual benefit to students through enhanced learning and a head-start in understanding the potential tools available to them when working in the professional industry. As changes in the built environment industry in Singapore is spearheaded by BCA and the relevant government agencies, interviews were arranged with three government agencies to seek their opinion on technology use in their processes. The technology used in the industry gave insights into the type of technology that should be used in the education system, to provide a more cohesive progression between undergraduate and professional application. With those considerations, an Augmented Reality (AR) prototype app was developed in order to facilitate visualisation and encourage the improvement of engineering intuition.
