It describes the knowledge study and experience learning along with the development of an iOS application that integrated with a Presidium device which is a gemological device that developed to screen out colorless synthetic HPHT diamond from the mined diamond. In order to accomplish this project, it comes down to three main areas. First is to learn Swift programming language and understand iOS software development kit (SDK) with a set of software tools for rapid development on design user interface, write Swift code and build apps. Second is to understand the capabilities of Raspberry Pi with Raspbian OS, that using Python programming language on developing the graphical user interface (GUI), firmware and software. Last part is to integrate iOS applications with Presidium devices that developed based on Raspberry pi by using wireless communication protocol.
